The integrity of our client’s bag was central to the success of their operation, as they packaged fine powder material. Unfortunately, their poly bags were bursting under pressure, causing a decrease in up-time and wasting valuable time and money. Furthermore, the leaking powder was contaminating other saleable items.
After working with our client and examining the problem, Rutan re-designed the bag to include a bottom seal to prevent the bag from bursting from pressure. Consistent gauge and strong, watertight seals further corrected the problem, enabling our client to continue their packaging operation. As a result of our solution, our client was able to save money and increase efficiency.
